I've been working a lot lately on different comics and art and stuff. Bought 17 new prismacolor markers to bring my collection to an even 50. Got some canvas and I will hopefully paint things on them soon. Finished the first page of my graphic novel. Have a few ideas for some others. Finished a brand new Regicide comic today, although I am having second thoughts as to whether it is funny or not. (When I first wrote it I thought it was funny, but after spending about 6 hours coloring it, the humor was lost on me. And maybe it was never funny.) Am doing some football pictures and book illustrations for one of the dads that comes into the gym.
Umm...So. I do not get to work summer camp this year, but I think the fact that I am spending so much time on my own artwork is a lot better for me than working there. And even if I am not sure my comic is funny, I can definitely see improvement in the artwork itself. Compare:
