Demon child, etc.

I now have the firm belief that one of the girls that comes into my work is a demon child. She's six years old, so she doesn't come in very often when I'm working because she's usually at school, but today was a holiday so I was once more graced with her presence. The last time she came was the day I got a migraine, went home early, and threw up, and today almost the same thing happened except I made it through the day (barely). I BLAME HER! This child is evil.

She likes to do stuff like throw balls and beanbags at my ass and then laugh at me. She tries to hit my ass with her hand. She tries to force me to play stupid games with her so she can beat me at everything. She calls me "slowy" when I half-heartedly try to play "basketball" with her. (Some stupid six-year-old version of basketball with the only rules being that everything she does is winning and everything I do is losing.) She takes all the bingo pieces after we finish playing bingo and throws them up in the air and laughs. I stare at her blankly through all of this and then ignore her and watch whatever movie's on.

Jeez, I hate kids sometimes. I mean, most of them are really sweet, but if I ever procreated and ended up with a demon spawn like this girl I would probably beat it. I mean spending just an hour with this girl every few weeks gives me migraines.

Anyway, my favorite kid Adrian is growing up. I think he had gel in his hair today, so freaking cute. And his newest obsession is The Jungle Book instead of Monsters Inc. I had The Jungle Book on last time and today when he picked his movie, he went straight for it. So now he likes watching The Jungle Book and trying to do the same 8-piece puzzles over and over. And then he can't get the pieces to fit so he has me do it. Then he tries again, gives up again, asks me for help; lather, rinse, repeat as needed. Got to admire the dedication there.
