I HAVE A NEW JOB!!!!!!!
Appropriately geeky too. I will be assisting two producers at a company called FUDOKAWA PICTURES USA. They are the US Production/Aquisition/Co-Financing office for a Japanese multimedia conglomerate. They do a lot of remakes of Japanese movies, as well as can tap into the company's extensive library for remake ideas: films (including a ton of Samurai films), books, anime, manga, short stories etc. Much like remaking The Ring 2.
The hours of the office are 9-7 at least. This will, I FEAR, put a MAJOR cramp in my kickboxing schedule. I am trying to remain excited about new job, positive about my future, calm about not knowing what's going to happen to my hobby and above all NOT PANIC.
I actually had a really great date on Sunday too, and some great weekend things coming up. It seems a bit too much...dare I hope things are looking up?
Congrats would be appreciated, comments telling me to suck it up..not so much.
