regency parasol ideas
I've got a parasol I bought online, with a plan to replace the white nylon cover.
So I've finally been inspird - there's a fashion plate with a checked shawl & matching parasol. I'm not going to be too matchy, cos the fabric I've found is a silk taffeta, too crispy for a parasol.

I'm going to have to be awake tomorrow morning, cos I have to phone FFC before I leave for work, ie must phone at 8am or earlier as my 8am is their 3pm, and they close at 4pm. I'm not prepared to stay up til 2am to phone when they open at 9am. the reason I have to phone is their address validation system isn't working for int'l customers. blerghhhhhhhh. It wasn't quite right when they changed systems a few months ago, but it worked ok. Now the fields can be filled properly, but it doesn't recognise them. more blerghs.

Still I'm going to get a sample of some challis and an apron length of lightweight wool. Part of me wants a plaid wool cloak, (wouldn't this be amazing) but I have inexpensive scarlet wool already for one! Just gotta make it
