thinking about a bodiced petticoat
I popped into the storage room to see if I could easily find the fabrics for the pink gown & vest. Yippee, at least some of my storage area makes sense as they were exactly where I thought they should be. I also counted the white hanky linen lengths, and I have 3, so I'm thinking that 1 of them ought to become a bodiced petticoat.
I have enough chemises to last 3 days, and don't have a bodice petticoat. It's winter here so I'm thinking of keeping warm whereas in summer I'm not. So once I have the gown done I can then make the petti.
I'd post a photo but I didn't put my camera away properly after last weekend. {rollseyes} I have the camera cover but not the camera. I'm starting to wonder if some of my problems with oddly placed items in the grotto are from doing things when I've not been well. The on-going issue started about 6 years ago so that does help explain some of the erratic putting away of things.
I also had another look for my winter sleepwear and found it. What a difference looking when your'e well makes ;) It was in the linen cupboard with the matching hot water bottle cover, right next to blankets.
