10 days late, the medieval fair post
Just realised that it's been 10 days since the medieval fair and I haven't posted any pics.
here's some of my posse, although I wasn't with them for the weekend.
I wore my dark ages viking ... it hasn't been out for a couple of years, or so it seems. though I forgot my cap, so wore a shawl over my head to cover hair and prevent sunburn. It was a glarey kind of day despite being overcast.
and I got soooo hot I had to take it and the wool caftan off. Ten days from winter and it was better weather than we had all summer! Not that I'm bitter (much).
However my squee of the day was for the jousters, one had what looked like a zombie bunny on his panniers and this one had, yes, a unicorn horn on her white horse's headgear.
