Whatever it was on the weekend that had me sleep 13 hours on Friday night, off my food and put my temperature up 0.6C also made my tennis elbow & plantar fasciitis start whining again. Not super badly, but enough to be a constant background niggle.
So although i'd planned to go home & give the pink stripey shirting a lesson in garment construction that it would never forget, I ended up doing nothing but icing, strapping & resting my annoyed & annoying left arm.
I did use my crankstipated mood for good & not evol. the new this year neighbours downstairs who start banging their dishes around at 11.15pm on the dot. Well I joined them. I threw a pot-lid, stainless steel serving utensils and cutlery into the sink - a piece at a time. Then ran hot water & washed them. I threw the potlid into the draining rack first so that each other item would make more noise as they bounced of it. It was VERY satisfying. Did I mention how satisfying it was??
I think I'll do it each night if she doesn't try to make less noise. My rational brain is that she doesn't realise how much noise travels/magnifies/travels in this 1950s block of bachelor flats. And she doesn't realise it because most others make an effort not to make excessive noise, especially late at night. So I'm going to give her an object lesson on how noise travels.
