oh international airmail, why are you so slow
aiyyy, back on the first day of the year, I ordered my book for January. (18th Century Costumes in the National Museums and Galleries of Merseyside)
As that was a Saturday & a public holiday in the UK I wasn't expecting it to be sent until during the next week, and it so it was. Dispatched on the 5th, and it still hasn't arrived. I wants it nowwwwww. It's almost February, and dithering time to about which book to order next. I want to order either Fashioning Fashion or pre-order the Napoleon fashion book. I'm getting twitchetty for the 4th Arnold book. Much as I'm intrigued by the 3rd book, I'm not in a hurry to use it.
My current wishlisty books are:
~ Fashioning-Fashion European Dress in Detail, 1700 - 1915
~ Napoleon & the Empire of fashion which is a pre-order, publishing date early April 2011. It might arrive before JAFA.
~ Nancy Bradfield's Costume in Detail
~ Janet Arnold's Patterns of Fashion 4
~ Janet Arnold's Patterns of Fashion 3
~ High Style: Masterworks from the Brooklyn Museum Costume Collection
