regency jockey style hat - the Zenobia

Nov 04, 2010 10:46

At JAFA earlier this year I bought the Timely Tresses pattern Zenobia - described as the sporty jockey style of the Regency era.  I got it cos it's so similar to the hat in the cross-over style dress from 1799 that I want to make.  Hmm, I'm going to compile my wishlist of JAFA 2011 clothing and start working on it - pattern+toile at least so that at least the tricky part is done early.  Assembling a garment is much easier than drafting/mocking up.

Dang I can't access photobucket from work, or I'd add a pic of the fashionplate. I'd crib from a post last year, but I've tidied up photobucket but not updated the posts. :foreheaddesk:

Edited to add pic:

Sidenote: got my tasklist done last night
