long time no posting
I've had an encounter with a lurgy of the throat variety followed by bronchitis ... gotta love those dodgy lungs.
Made my vintage pattern (vogue) only to be told by someone who remembers the decade better than I, that it's a copy of a Balenciaga dress. I made an absolute rush job, no interlining, no seam finishing, and more worryingly No Flat Bow on the neckline.
Ended up with a knee length rather than floor, as it looked better ... less sacklike to be honest. as in I looked less like a sack of spuds in a spiffy bag.
