well, it's taken me forever to get around to adding an avatar. And I just couldn't figure what, so it's from one of my few vintage patterns. I had a similar haircut as a child, though my hair was dead straight/
Still want to play with layout & colour schemes ... though I should confess that this would be an "avoid" to real sewing. The stuff that I need to do for my costume. Still uncut. akkk.
Though last night I left work early & trekked to the only place I know that sells busks & spiral steels.
$51 later, I have the hardware that a victorian corset is useless without.
My only quibble is their new stock is wider than 1/4" grrrr. So I might need wider tape for the casings for those bones only.
Still I shouldn't complain at all, but be Very Very Grateful that I managed to get any boning at all.
