Project Title: #4 Those Are Some Nice Melons JSK
Short Project Description: An easy JSK made from pre-shirred watermelon fabric from Walmart. It was too cute and I couldn't resist. I am going to add a black ruffle and some sort of accent at the bottom, as well as, white ruffled straps

that fabric is sooo cute!

and don't worry, it's not too hard to work with. i made a jsk from some pre-shirred fabric (it had ladybugs and daisies on it) and it wasn't difficult at all. ^_^

i'm thinking of getting the black version of this myself. but getting 2 yards cutting the fabric off the shirred part. put the two bottoms together, gather..reattach to only 1 yard of the shirred part and putting some trim on it some how. make some straps or make some sleeves either way and bam. jsk XD lolol. can't wait to see what you do from this. :D

Cute fabric! I think the only possible problem is that the preshirred fabric doesn't give a full enough skirt for a proper lolita shape. But it'd be a really adorable casual sundress.
