Project Title: Green JSK from Otome no Sewing vol 6 plus matching french hood.
Short Project Description: A simple green JSK with gold trim plus a french hood.  Something that one can wear at office.
Project Started: 22nd February
Project Completed: 15th February
Did you discover something you would like to share? Decided to buy bi-stretch fabric for this project as it draped lovely but my god it made putting in the invisible zip a right pain!  However saying that I love it.  It is a hard wearing fabric so I don't have to worry about getting it messy and the overall design turned out nicely, perfect for officewear and when I wear the french hood hopefully it will be okay for lolita
How happy are you with the result? Definitely!  I particular like the french hood as I always like bonnets but they made me look a bit well....silly.  However the french hood is actually quite flattering.

And the ever essential pockets.

After I made the dress I thought it was time to turn my attention to headdress.  As much as I like bonnets, they do not like me so I thought I would give french hoods a try.  The pattern was one that I found on the internet when I typed in french hood.  Here is the end result.

I created the flowers using my tsumami technique and then carefully glued down the gold chainlink thread.  I sewed in the beads in the flower centres though as there is no way I could glue those on without looking ugly.

Now I just need to find the time to wear the whole thing.
