Project Update: Black Fae Peignoir
its almost there! the sleeves, ties, ruffles and skirt are all attached! I found that the most effective way of doing the tattered edges was by bunching it up and holding the roughly cut edges over the stove, then where it all sticks together pull it apart to make this lovely effect- admittedly it did catch aflame a couple of times but not for long. I didn't even burn myself! for the sleeves I decided to make circular flounces although they didn't match up perfectly, but still good. All that's left is to get on with embellishment and the headdress!
