Help altering boots?
First off, I'm not sure if this is exactly the right place to post this, but I thought it made more sense than to post to EGL. If this is not the right place however, just let me know!
Now, I have some boots (Bodyline, shoes225) that I have never really worn due to fitting and cosmetic issues. I was intending on selling them, but recently I wondered about turning them into shorter boots. Has anyone attempted this before? Do you think that this is even possible? I have looked online, and while I have found nothing about lolita boots in particular I have found multiple tutorials on how to do so with regular street-wear boots. The only issue is that my boots are not made out of a fabric-like pleather but rather a very stiff material that would be difficult to fold over as these tutorials suggest.
So, that being said, do you think I should try, and if so, how should I go about it? I want to know if it will even be worth it, as I do not wish to cut into these nearly brand-new shoes and ruin them! :S
