Project Registration - Navy Blue Apron Style Overskirt and Underskirt.
I have been wanting to make more interchangeable pieces for my wardrobe so I thought I would make a start with this.
Project Title : Navy blue Apron Style Overskirt and Underskirt
Short Project Description: A frilly overskirt with underskirt which can double up as a bustle skirt.
Projected Deadline: By 17 March because of a competition.
Pattern(s) Used: Underskirt will be half normal cupcake while the other half will be a frilly underskirt so no pattern needed (I think) and as for the overskirt.....I think I am going to make it up a bit.
Materials needed: Navy blue suit fabric for the overskirt and underskirt will be white cotton lawn and some really pretty peacock printed curtain material.
Challenges or obstacles : Not sure...
So this is my rough design and I think it is possible. I might add some lace along the bottom of the underskirt but that is easy enough. Oh and I will probably make some hair accessories as well.
