Project Update

Note: All materials (except for purple chiffon fabric) were purchased at Jo-Anns Fabrics. I tried to get the greatest percentages of cotton in all the laces and they have beautiful drape and wonderful feel, but they are not 100% cotton. Either way, overall I've spent more than 100 dollars. >.< All fabrics except for the chiffon and velvet are 100 percent cotton.

I've decided to change the design from a full OP to a high waisted skirt. I've changed the fabric for the high waist from a velvet to a cotton but still bought velvet to make a matching muff.

Please excuse the horrible pintucks. This is my first time doing pintucks and it's very tricky.
WARNING: I would STRONGLY advise against using burda patterns. This is my second time using it and already they asked me to measure every pintuck to 3/16 of an inch and the pintucks aren't matching on each side... UGH! If you have any tips for pintucks, I would GREATLY appreciate it.

I love the pure white look in shiro lolita and I think it looks cool to wear in the summer as well. I don't know if I'm completely happy with the design... I'm debating a detachable halter neck tie? What do you think? ALSO I panicked at the last minute and got polyester lining x.x I don't know if it's a killer mistake or if I'll be alright.
