Hi!!!
I've been lurking this community for a while now :) I'm not exactly new to lolita - but I don't know a lot about it either! On the other hand, I've been sewing for quite some years now (about... five or six!), and although I don't have mad skills or anything, I like doing it!
I'm starting this project that I've called "Lolita from Scratch". The goal, as you can probably imagine, is making a complete lolita wardrobe, in a very tight budget, and without buying any lolita garments. This idea came to me when I was looking at my new years resolution list: I wanted to dress lolita again, and I wanted to use all the fabrics I've been accumulating for years. And so, Lolita from Scratch was born! I want to make tutorials of almost everything I sew, so people within a budget (or people who want to sew loli!) have some more resources! The projects that I have in mind right now are:
- A blue OP (sailor-esque style)
- Black and white cutsew (Sailor style again)
- Red and off-white shirt-sew (Classic style, moreless)
- Black high-waist skirt (Classic!)
- Floral print skirt/JSK
- Off-white blouse
- Bloomers
- Petticoat (I'll go for an A-line petti, but I want to make a bell petti too at some point)
- Black coat
- Green coat
- Spats (to make my non-loli shoes look absolutely gorgeous)
- Fur ankle covers (for my non-loli shoes again)
I've already started by uploading this
OP pattern drafting tutorial, I hope you like it! It will help you draft a custom pattern for a princess seam dress :)
Well, see you soon!
