Project Registration: OTT Hime Corset Gown
Hello sewing ladies
I have been gone for a while but now I'm back. While I've been away I have been making things but nothing good enough to show to all of you. I have a project to register. It will be my Halloween costume.
Project Title :OTT Hime Corset Gown
Short Project Description: The dress is a one piece with a corset bodice, a real fashion corset, that has tight off the shoulder sleeves. The skirt is three ruffled tiers attached to an under skirt, and there's an overskirt with a ruffle that gives a high-low effect. I want to make it pastel colors, probably pink or maybe blue. I'll be using white to accent. I want this to be super Hime though.
Projected Deadline: Halloween, yeah, as in less than a week
Pattern(s) Used: SIMPLICITY 5006, a simple rectangle skirt and simple ruffle and a bustle over skirt tutorial from the EGL LJ
Materials needed: main color fabric: pink or blue, white fabric for the underskirt, elastic lace, ribbon, interfacing, thread: in white and whatever main color
Challenges or obstacles : Time, I'm kind of racing against it. I have all kinds of free time this weekend though so I'm sure I can get it done.
