Project Title: "Rose Maiden" Dress alteration
Did you make changes from original plan?:  None
Did you discover something you want to share?: Butterfly sleeves are surprisingly hard to draft
How happy are you with the result? 90% Because the original dress was made years and years ago there are some variations on the technique.  It is very pretty and a nice throwback to a more old-school style.

Project Title : "Forest of the Unicorn" Example jsk/ skirt
Short Project Description: The example Jsk (and skirt) for my latest line.  I've finally been able to get a version of the print I am happy with!
Projected Deadline: Soon, please soon.
Pattern(s) Used: The bodice will be a similar design to the "rose maiden" dress bodice
Materials needed: "Forest of the Unicorn" fabric, lining, lace, elastic.
Challenges or obstacles : I think most of the obsticals have been with designing the fabric.  Thats done!

The example skirt is done:

and taken apart for the jsk; so now I am putting that together.  Here is a work in progress photo:

This is pinned together to show how it will look.  The waist "band" is actually a belt/sash/bow.  The ruffled lace neckline will be removable so that it will be more versatile; with cardigans and such.

I have also been making some accessories to break things up a bit.

Batwing collar.  I will probably sell this as it's not really my style; it was too neat idea not to do!

lace bonnet with rose corsage

Rabbit corsage pin!    I can’t help how much I like this thing.  I think it just reminds me of Redwall so much!  I've made 4 of them so far in different colors!

Thank you for looking!
