Project Title : Fragrant Melody JSK
Short Project Description: Sketch above. In the back there will be shirring in the bodice portion with more lace trim. The skirt apron will pull up to the waist ties in the back to reveal bustle-back/underskirt with 4 tiers of ruffles. There will be an invisible zipper on the side.
Projected Deadline: Birthday haha November 10
Pattern(s) Used: Self drafted
Materials needed: 3 1/2 yards main fabric [cotton], 5 yards contrast fabric [cotton], 2 rolls of double sided satin ribbon, opt. 1 pkg. bias tape/1/4 yard contrast fabric, min. 6 yards max. 27 yards lace (depending on how much lace I add to things)
Challenges or obstacles : I already bought the main fabric, but I'm thinking I might need 4 yards instead (like I originally planned) because I did that stupid thing where I see them measuring out the fabric and I'm like (dude, I only need 3 1/2 yards) and afterwards thought (dude, I have to line this thing) whoops but hopefully it will work out haha. Also, this will be the most expensive JSK I've made so far because I'm going all out with it! moneys....
