california was great
everything turned out awesome. seeing everyone was cool. staying with my grandma was good. me and forrest talked to our cousins more than the last time we were there. and that was good. we had finally seen anchorman. the trip was very long. and stopping at a bunch of rest areas and gas stations, it was crazy. arizona was cool, i think just about every mountain had giant cactus on it. then we drove all the way to cali. with my uncle and his two daughters who followed behind us. holy moly! when we got to california, all the get togethers with my dads family= a lot of filipino food and bbq. a lot of feasts. everyone had changed from the last time we saw everyone. just about every day we took family pictures. we played a bunch of pool at my grandmas house. we also went to yosemite, venice beach, la, and a bunch of other places. we are thinking about moving to california after forrest graduates. so my dad can live closer to his family, since my grandma is getting old. and i dont know how that will be. california seems like a cool place though. the beaches over their are great. but austin is great. and to leave here, would just feel weird. just came back from louisiana last night. now that is a friendly area. just about everyone waves hello, and doesnt even know you. a few folks honked their horns while we were outside. at first i thought the people would be like, "look at dem brown folks." but they werent. well, the whole trip to california was cool. i listened to a lot of coldplay, underoath, emery, and spitalfield on my cd player. i think i watched my coldplay dvd about 10 times or so. but i think the next time we go to california will be in two years or so.
