Domestic Parking Passive-Aggression
Grrrar. Bitching here because I want to keep my tumblr art-only. :P
So, our next-door neighbors have like 5 or something cars with room for only two. They like to park the others in font of our driveway. This week has been particularly bad. I've had to knock on their door and ask them several times to move so we can get our car out.
The biggest reason I hate this is because I always want to be prepared for worst-case scenarios. If there's an emergency, I want to be able to drive to a hospital.
Today I washed our car, and I left it out to dry in a patch of sun at the end of the driveway, overlapping the sidewalk but leaving room for pedestrians. Remembered just after midnight to put it back in the garage, and as soon as I do.. BAM! Lady comes running out of her house and moves her car onto the sidewalk, blocking our driveway again. >w<;
WTF, woman? The sidewalk is not your parking lot. Maybe next time I will just leave it out all week.
In conclusion: I am glad we are only renting.
