SWTOR Ramblings

I bought Star Wars: The Old Republic. During GDC week. Why did I do this?

Been playing a cyborg male Imperial Agent named Lex Snow and a human female Jedi Knight named Silwyn.
Imperial Agent is a lot of fun! It makes little to no sense to do many of the side quests as an agent, though, so I'm trying to ignore them.
Honestly, I'm finding the early Jedi campaign pretty bland... except for Satele Shan. God damn. I may or may not have pitched a fit when I realized I probably can't have her for my master. (But correct me if I'm wrong here!)
The lack of same-sex relationship options is also pretty irritating. Even more irritating is Bioware dangling the promise of an update patch to add these options without following through, but I figure it's not entirely in their hands, or it would have been done by now.

While I suspect Satele is romantically unobtainable, patch or no patch, this stops my Silwyn from secretly crushing on her not at all. I ROLEPLAY HOW I WANT! >:P

Kvetching aside, this is an awesome, awesome game, and I am hooked! I'm excited to try out Smuggler and Sith Inquisitor soon, too. I hear inquisitor is the most popular class, and from what I've seen Nic play of it, it looks very promising. :)

Fun fact: this the first MMO I haven't hated, and the first "serious" Star Wars game I've ever played for more than thirty minutes.
