TV Show Babblings
Are you watching Game of Thrones? If not: you really should!
I still have not read the A Song of Ice and Fire books (it's on my to-do list), but my friends tell me the Game of Thrones TV series has thus far been a pretty faithful adaptation.
Anyways! Political fantasy drama! Sean Bean being awesome! Wolves!
I finished up Puella Magi Madoka Magica on Sunday night. Such a good little anime series! There are already a couple of spin-offs for it, but I'm really glad the plot was short and wrapped up so neatly.
You can see from subtle hints in the OP sequence how well the series was planned out in advance. No last-minute twist ending. (Even the mid-series twists were planned and hinted at in advance, yet they still catch you off-guard on the presentation.) And, this series succeeded in finally turning me into a femmeslasher. Madoka/Homura what you do to meeeee.
And of course, the latest Doctor Who series kicked off this weekend. The Doctor is back to brighten my week! Yes!
I'm bummed to hear that Elisabeth Sladen (Sarah Jane) died though. :(
My latest contract is going pretty well, and I'm also making progress on the Lacona models. Not so much luck with ZBrush - I think I'm trying to do too many advanced things with it. Just need to chill out and do the easy stuff first.
I've got a networking night tomorrow, and then on Thursday we're going climbing again at Planet Granite. It's almost like I have a social life. :P
I haven't touched any games in a while though. Pokémon Black, Minecraft and Portal 2 are all waiting for me and I just don't have time to play right now.
