Hello all. ひさしぶり, ね!
School has been eating up most of my time of late.
Went to see the arts adviser today to check in on my progress toward a Fine Arts BA. Turns out I'm further ahead than I thought. Looks like smooth sailing toward graduation for me.
I'm also finding myself pretty firmly set on the idea of grad school. I just can't see myself going directly into an industry at this point in my life, in terms of both my skill set and personal growth. Especially considering the state of the economy right now.
So, I shall start looking into art schools in the bay area that will help me get to where I want to be. Preferably somewhere I can commute to from home until I am able to support myself independently.
Vector Longcat...
...is infinitely scalable. ♥
Yeah, I know, I am obsessed with random circle/bubble backgrounds.
Is this Zoe's? Laura's? Either way, it was a box I saw when we were moving in back in September, and it made me laugh, so I appropriated it into my random image bank.
:DDDDDD
Two weekends ago I took public transit up to visit Nic. The bus arrived late at San Jose, so I was a few departures behind on my trains and, consequently, missed my last bus.
I ended up stranded in San Francisco and had to get a ferry across the bay.
But the view was so, so beautiful. ♥
Oh. By the way, I finally got to watch the Code Geass finale.
Erm, guys? I know you are unlikely to listen to me on account of the fact that I rant about it all the time, but if you are a fan of anime in any way shape or form you HAVE to see this series. It's amazing.
Nic was saying that it was the most satisfying conclusion to an anime series that he had ever seen, and after much contemplation and weighing against my other favourites, I have to agree with him.
Housemates? After I've cooled down from the epic for a while (say, like, next quarter) I am going to host a CG marathon in the living room. Of course I won't force you to watch. But. You really should! DDDDD:
