Woo Hoo! It's music night!
Wednesday nights have been officially dedicated to my musical endevours. I used to go to swing dancing on Wednesdays but I think I'd much rather record or mix songs. I like dancing but my passion is for music.
I've started trying to record again the way that I used to which was basically my getting on the drums and beating out some imaginary tune in my head, then recording the rest of the music on top of it followed by some random lyrical content and VIOLA! a song.
I've found it a bit difficult to do this lately. It's quite bizzare how hard it can be to be creative when I feel great. I will push on tho. I have still have a few ideas up my sleeve that I am wanting to get down.
I kind of miss being in a band. I don't miss the lugging around of heavy gear nor the internal bitching but I do miss playing with other musicians. We'll see what the future holds.
