In other news, our Herakles Graphic Novel is just about finished. YAAAAAY! I am so ready for this ordeal to be over. I'm excited about it, but I'm also just mentally DONE. Gah. I have 1 1/2 panels to ink and then some clean-up to do, then we have to add in the speech/narration/sound-effects and we'll be basically done.

*FIRE UPDATE: Okay, fire situation getting vaguely alarming. There are two BIG fires fairly near my apartment and there's the worry that the two fires will combine and create an even bigger threat. I'm packing up some stuff and putting it in my car just in case we have to evacuate while I'm at work. Lauren will take care of Jakabee. I don't really think that we're in that much danger at the moment, but better safe than sorry...
Ugh. I can hardly breathe from all the smoke @_@
Reminds me of high school when we had the big mountain fires on Halloween. Ahh... Memories.
**FIRE UPDATE #2: My co-worker's house just burned down. One fire's about 3 miles away from my work.
***FIRE UPDATE #3: Got evacuated from work because the Brea fire has gotten close enough to ignite some nearby restaurants. It still seems okay around my apartment. We have an evacuation center right down the street, so we're probably safe. I think I'm not going to go to bed tonight though, just in case we need to get out.
