Masks
Well my follow up to "Death" has just been posted to The Petulant Poetess if any of you are interested. I hope you enjoy. It is a little dark and depressing but it was hitting me over the head and wouldn't let go. So look for Masks.
On to other things.
I bend my head down and pray for state of our world. 8yrs ago today I was at work early in the morning doing overtime when my husband called me and left a message "Look what this world is coming too. Someone just flew a plane into the World Trade Center" and with those words our lives changed forever. Before children I used to be a nanny in both New Jersey and on Long Island. I have family on Staten Island and to go any where you rode the subway. I had been to the World Trade Center many times, been in the shopping mall underneath and exited the subway there. To see the New York skyline form the top was the most wonderful experience and now my children will never know what it felt like to be in the clouds. My heart and prayers go out to everyone affected on the horrible day.
A fellow Harry Potter Fan Fiction author said all on her LJ page. "May God have mercy on our souls for what we do in His name." Mia you said it all.
