Well, damn. I love your stuff, it's simply wonderful, and while I don't doubt for a minute that Meredith will survive, this is how I would picture it.

Not even that okay that everyone pretends to be after a funeral, when you’re broken inside but pretend that life is really going to go on, that you won’t grieve forever.

Cristina hasn’t gotten there yet.

Thank you so much! I definitely also think Meredith will survive, but I thought it would be fun to explore what might happen if she died. And it was fun, if incredibly depressing! ;)

Beautiful. Depressing, but beautiful. I especially liked the part when Richard goes to tell Ellis, but can't do it, and of course the following part with Ellis alone in the hospital room. Good job.
