entry 002 - no title

No, I don’t think I quite understand the overwhelming... ‘logic’ my students hold to.

Catepillars need to be chopped, and scarab beetles need to be crushed. There is, you will note, a distinct difference between these two instructions. Why, then, have I found an entire jar of crushed catepillars left over as one of many tasks from a previous detention? More importantly, how did they get past my inspection?

When I discover which daft child did this... they will be chopping another five batches for every half cup of this evidence of their complete incompetence. The fact that they some how snuck the fouled batch past me only ensures that they will be chopping bugs long into the night. And do not mistake me, they will be chopping them into perfectly measured slices- else they will still be chopping when my first class of the next morning shows up.

And, I do have another three barrels of toads that need disemboweling. I’m sure someone will volunteer for that soon enough...
