I know I shouldn't have, but I did some wall runs anyways
On science hill there is this slightly inclined wall, maybe 10 feet tall, with a short bench at its base and a thick bar at the top. You take a small running start, kick of the bench, catch yourself on the wall with the other leg and by grabbing the bar, position both legs under you, climb up, and vault over
Fortunately my right knee is perfectly fine, and my left leg is stable with straight movements, so I didn't hurt anything and had lots of fun doing those before lab. My friends ran off up the stairs next to the wall to lab and I climbed up after them. It's a good feeling
After lab I found a railing with a wall at level height by it, so you don't have to pistol your way to standing on the railing :P
It was about 20 feet long and as it turns out I have pretty good balance. It was lots of fun, and a great workout for your ankles and fine movements
I'm not doing any leg work for a couple weeks, just stretching and massaging and getting better. The trouble that sent me to the doctor has gone away with RICE, but I'll still schedule an MRI. But either way, I'm going to rest my IT band, then start working on it slowly, and my hamstrings as well. No quads, and very little calf work, and I should be back in.... several months
