What I Just Finished Reading: Since last week I read four books: Half Bad by Sally Green, The Bright Lands by John Fram, Immunity by Erin Bowman, and Cemetery Club by JG Faherty. Reviews below.

Glad you enjoyed Half Bad! I think you'll like the rest of the story too. Incidentally, for the TV show, they change the names of the witches - I can't for the life of me remember what they call the White witches but the Black witches become Blood witches. I assume they did this to distance the story from black and white races, particularly as Nathan is played by a black actor. Obviously in the book black & white witches can be of any human race.

I don't currently have any streaming aside from Paramount Plus (which I got for The Challenge, mostly) but when I looked this up to confirm that it was on Netflix I saw that it has been cancelled. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. :(

Ah, tis the way of things. They always cancel the good stuff. I shall do a rewatch, I think.

You beat me to the second in the Heartland Trilogy! *g* It's certainly on my TBR pile, but right now I'm going through another of his tomes!

Sounds like a real mix of books. The last one sounds especially awful. Never try to copy King; you'll lose.
