Hills, how I hate thee
Today I walked to the library to pick up some books I had transferred from other branches. I had to go today because we are getting yet another snowstorm tonight, with an excepted 15 cm (6 inches) tonight and another 5 cm (2 inches) tomorrow. Whyyyyyyyyyy. UGH.
Anyway, my walk again made me feel quite optimistic. It was 2.1 km round trip (1.3 miles) which is longer than the walk to the pharmacy, and I did in a faster time. I also didn't have any pain until I got to the library, and the pain was mild. It didn't get worse until I was about 2 blocks from home, and even then wasn't as bad as it usually gets. I actually am starting to believe that I might be able to have at least a semi-active life again!
Anyway, haldoor and I were commiserating about the horrible hills we must face whenever we leave the house, so I said I would take a photo of mine.
I hope it looks as steep as it is! The house I live at is waaaay at the top on the left hand side. You can just see the cab of the white truck that Garry drives sticking out of the driveway. No matter how great I'm doing, I always huff and puff up that stupid hill.
Allrighty, off to see if I can finish my book and get my review and such done tonight. I'm not loving the book I'm reading so I'm eager to finish it and start one that I reallllly want to read. Hope everyone is doing well.
