And let me just say, HOLY CANNOLI I AM PLEASED.
So, I've been very good with my calories all week. My highest calorie day was 972 calories. I've done the stationary bike twice.
The food part hasn't been too hard, actually. I've been feeling full. I thought I'd be dying for a Pepsi and getting headaches without it (because I noramlly drink so much of it) but I haven't! I have an open can in the fridge and I've taken 3 sips from it in 4 days. So, super pleased with the food part of this.
The biking part has been HARD. This is because of a combination of just being ridiculously obese and because my DDD makes my legs feel like tree trunks (I have to manually lift my feet to get them into the stirrups. What a sight.) But my goal has been 20 minutes minimum a day, 3 to 4 days a week. I did 25 minutes on Day One and 20 minutes on Day Two. Day Three is today and it'll be after supper, I think. The other two days I did it first thing in the morning but today I was just bushed.
Anyway. I was hopeful for a good result on weigh-in today. And I know that 'they' say that the first week is a lot of water weight (whatever that means.) But when I weighed myself this morning I did it three times, walked away, had a shower, got dressed, came back and did it again, and it's still telling me the same thing.
I LOST 7 POUNDS.
What. How. What. I don't even. I'll take it, and thank that water weight, whatever it is, for giving me a big count. I told my sister that I'm like one of those Biggest Loser contestants and if I did their crazy (unhealthy) daily workouts I'd have had a 20-lb week. LOL!
ETA: My Road to 50 Lbs is starting to look colourful:
So, how did everyone else do? Did you stick to your goals? If you're calorie counting or keto-ing, how did that go? How are you FEELING? Let me know! Can't wait to see how everyone is doing!
