tv_universe challenge 611 - Movie to TV Recast
The 11th challenge in Round 6 at tv_universe was to recast a movie (or three) with television actors. Below the cut are my picspams for my recasts of Reign of Fire, The Story of Us, Dawn of the Dead (2004).
01. Reign of Fire -- Twenty years after dragons reawaken and scorch the earth, the few remaining survivors struggling to get by in England are joined by an overzealous American with a plan to wipe out the dragons forever. Originally starred Christian Bale as Quinn, Matthew McConaughey as Van Zan, and Izabella Scorupco as Alex.
02. The Story of Us -- Fifteen years of ups and downs in the relationship of free-spirited Ben and straight-laced Katie. Originally starred Bruce Willis as Ben, Michelle Pfeiffer as Katie, and Rob Reiner as Stan.
03. Dawn of the Dead (2004) -- the survivors of a zombie apocalypse take shelter in a mall. Originally starring Sarah Polley as Ana, Jake Weber as Michael, and Ving Rhames as Kenneth.
