okay. The thing that stands out to me with this one is the VOICE. I mean you always had it down, you did, but this is NAILED. I was going to quote you some parts, like the part about 'sorrys' and the useleless city folk, and tracking on cement, but basically it never stopped being PERFECTLY BANG ON and there is no point just pasting the whole damn fic here. :) Nice. Accurate.

Oh wow. Thank you. Sometimes there's a line, like between using the colliquilisms (sp? no, I'm not gonna look it up) and dropping the g's in the prose, where if it's overdone it just looks/feels/reads *wrong* to me... I think in shorter fic, it works. In longer, I tend to use it only in dialogue. But yes, wow and thank you for the awesome compliment.
