Could I BE any more tired right now? *is fond of Chandlerisms*

OMG I am sooooo exhausted. So, I was up till 7am writing and posting the fic, and chatting with Lizzie. Slept from 7:15am till 9:15am, when my sister called to wake me up. She picked me up at 10am, and we went out to buy mom her TV. Now, you'd think this would be simple, right? Go to store, get TV, purchase, come home. We both thought we'd be done by noon at the latest.

Okay. So we find a 20" TV for $139. Good deal. The store doesn't have an appropriate sized stand for it, though. So we leave, go to a couple of other stores, and finally find a nice stand at Staples. (Yeah, it's supposed to be a printer stand but it'll look just fine as a TV stand.) So we buy it, then go back to Wal-Mart to buy the TV. Except that WE DIDN'T CHECK TO MAKE SURE THEY HAD ONE IN STOCK. And they don't, and they don't sell their floor models, and we are screwed.

We try a couple of other stores, try calling the other local Wal-Marts, nothin'. Finally we go back to my sisters place and call literally EVERY SINGLE TV OR TV-RELATED STORE in the yellow pages. Each one says "Oh yes, we have blah-blah brand 20" TV for awesomely-great price." We say, "Great! Do you have one in stock?" They say, "Of fucking course not, moron." *bangs head on desk*

We were about ready to buy a more expensive flat-screen model, have me pay the difference, and lie to mom about the price... when my sister suddenly yelled, "CANADIAN TIRE! WE DIDN'T CALL CANADIAN TIRE!!!" I said, "OMG. We are stupid. But pretty." So call to Cdn Tire was made, they HAD ONE IN STOCK OMG YAY, we went to buy it and found a different one in stock for only $119!!!! Hallelujah, saints be praised.

So what should have been a simple excursion lasted till 4pm. Sister drove me home, and I got in at 4:15pm. Do I do the logical thing and, oh, I dunno, SLEEP? Noooo. Jen calls at 4:30pm and invites me to dinner with her and Amy, so off I go! So we went shopping first, and I bought this really pretty brightly striped bag at Old Navy, and tried very very hard to buy a DVD but couldn't find one that I really HAD to have, and then we went to Philthy McNasty's and we ALL won our individual coin tosses and got our dinners for free. Wheeeee!

So now my eyelids weigh 763542 tons, but at the same time I am anxious to revise my DotD fic, though if I do I'm sure it will come out sounding like something from the mind of my five-year-old niece. Meanwhile I am also hyper and don't want to sleep. So far, 2005 pretty much rules.
