Day 18 - Something that you wish never happened
This was a hard one, because it has always been so ingrained in me to be canon-girl. I just accept everything that happens even if I don't particularly LIKE it, and work it in to my view of the characters, because even the bad or uncomfortable things inform them.
I guess one thing that I really disliked and wish we hadn't seen was that whole scene with Debbie slapping Brian after Vic's death. (I wish I could find the scene online!) Brian was definitely more blunt than he should have been, but he said nothing *wrong*. He was honestly trying to HELP Debbie, and I think that was very obvious. But it's just another case of Debbie's very conditional love -- she rages. I don't know how anybody could *really* deal with her.
And poor Brian leaving the house and Justin rushing after him. Brian was so horribly HURT by the way Debbie treated him (as he had right to be.) I just wanted to snuggle him up.
