Your Keller rings truer than Beecher for me, here, hah. It was easy to feel how uncomfortable and squirmy Keller was, and I liked Keller's blurted confession about not wanting to fuck up Toby's kids' lives - I do think that he'd *think about* that kind of thing. Great slice of life story. Happy Easter, Beecher & Keller! Happy Easter, V!

Yeah, this started out as pure fluff and then Chris got prissy and it became this, which necessitated an entire rewrite. Thus, somewhat disjointed. But the idea of all new-age-y Toby with his personal trainer and his therapist and 'pink warm fuzzies' and happy-thoughts. It amuses me, dahling.
Though it's Toby's POV, Chris was definitely the one doing the driving.
Happy Easter! *glomps*

“Beecher, touch that chocolate and I’ll break your arms,” Chris warns. “Again.”
This line is pure genius.
Chris having a childhoood like this, with an abusive father and church almost everyday,
no wonder he was messed up. You give us more logical background than TF did.

Hee! Sometimes the new-age lessons don't stick! ;)
"Beecher, touch that chocolate and I'll break your arms again" was my line from ozsaur. I agree, it's awesome!
I knew people when I was growing up Catholic who really did the 3-times-a-week church thing. Can't imagine. And I for the life of me could NOT remember what, if anything, we had learned of Chris's background on Oz. So I just decided to wing it. AU rocks like that. :D
