We've got our first now of the season, but thankfully the winter storm that was forecast for our area has generally missed us. This is of the good mostly because I still haven't got winter boots! I was hoping to hold off until I got my Christmas bonus, but with more snow predicted soon it seems that I'm going to have to use my credit card and pick some up tomorrow.
I have a computer question; I'm hoping you guys can help me out, because you usually can! You know that little icon thing on the laptop that indicates power levels? Like normally it says "100%" if it's plugged in to the wall, and if it's just using battery it says "92%" or whatever, and as it runs out of power the number gets smaller? Okay. If that little number goes all the way down to ZERO, will the computer will still work if it's plugged into the wall???
The reason I ask is that for some reason, a couple of days ago it went down to 95% and says "charging". Yesterday it went to 94%. Today it's at 93%. I need to know if I HAVE to replace the battery, which I really don't have the money to do, or if I can just run it off electricity all the time, which is what I do all the time anyway.
Please help me, oh flist. :D
Off to write. :)
