Valentines Aftermath :)
Thank you to everyone who commented on the Valentines Day Extravaganza post. I won't respond individually due to time constraints today but I wanted to say that I find compiling the HUGE list to be great fun and very rewarding. It reminds me of how much I love this fandom and the people in it, and it's not a hardship at all!
All day on the evening of February 13th/morning of February 14th (on my night shift at work) people kept asking me if I was married/had a boyfriend/had a significant other. I kept smiling and saying, "No, just me and my cat" and wondering why the hell everyone was suddenly interested in my personal life. I didn't even clue in that they were asking because the next day was Valentine's Day! I just found that funny -- that I was so clueless!
Then on the evening of February 14th a driver brought me a yellow rose. It's so pretty! Shame I can't smell it. He blushed when I gushed and told him he was a sweet man and too good to me. :)
Oooh. And a BIG thank you to metafascinating for the chocolates, flashfly for the eyeball (that is SO a zombie eyeball. *nods*), and kayebee_12 for the mix tape (clearly a Best of QaF compilation!) I love them!
I've only had 4 hours sleep in the past 24 and I'm soooo tired. So I'm debating going to bed righ now or trying to stay up for a couple more hours (it's only 6pm here.) If I sleep now I'm going to be up at 2am. I should really move all my scrapbooking stuff into the new cabinet that has been put together since the third week of January and is currently sitting empty. Yes, I really should.
