Friday I got my hair cut. See?

Many many inches were removed. I absolutely LOVE it short -- I feel like I lost 20 lbs and 5 years. However, I am incapable of making it curl in like the stylist did (the photos were taken on the day it got cut), which means it just sort of hangs there and looks stupid, so I have to keep putting it back in a half-pony. When I go back for the trim I'm going to ask her to not do the shorter in back/longer in front V-thing, and I'll just have plain ol' short hair. :)

I spent Saturday and Sunday in bed sick with a migraine. :(

Monday was Thanksgiving yay! We had a really lovely day -- Mom only had a couple of instances of not-making-sense, and she seemed to follow the conversations fairly well and she laughed a lot. We all had a fun time together! Then I had to go to work on 3 hours sleep, which was a lot of not-fun.

Somewhere in there I made posters, inventory sheets, price tags, and cash reporting forms for the upcoming weekly "Trinkets N Treats" shop we (family council) are opening at the nursing home, and wrote a letter about it to management.

Tuesday there was a meeting at the nursing home regarding accreditation (sp?) and a potential buyer and some other issues. Nothing stressful, thank goodness.

Wednesday my superintendent and the property manager were supposed to come by all the apartments in the building to inspect the balconies, between 9am and noon. So when I got home from work in the morning, I stayed up.

AND THEY NEVER SHOWED UP.

And that brings me to today, Thursday. I'm supposed to be doing laundry right now, but I'm so bone-tired that the thought of carrying a laundry basket downstairs almost makes me weep. I'm going to bed as soon as my latest troops in Travian finish updating. I swear, if the super/property manager show up here this morning and wake me up, I will spork them. I will.

(BTW, Travian is highly addictive and fun and everyone should play it. You run a village and have to build up resources (crops, ores, lumber) and defend your village and train troops. You can form an alliance with some of the villages around you, and send your troops out to raid others. I blame dianaryan for my addiction entirely.)

Meanwhile, work has been fairly slow so I've been able to read a bit, but I'm never going to make 50 books this year. :( (I would do up a little review of them right now, but I have no idea what number I'm at.)

Also, tomorrow night Jen of the Awesome Fabulousness and I are attending our yearly Henry Rollins spoken word thingy in Toronto. Henry is always entertaining.
