Updates and RL
... because I am one of the few who really doesn't give a fig about Harry Potter.
So I had a ton of drivers asking about my holiday when I got back to work. One of them always talks about driving down to MA (he goes about every six weeks) to visit his son. I always assumed he meant Boston. Turns out -- his son LIVES IN GREAT BARRINGTON. Small world, folks. He said that if I was going down again, we could try to coordinate and he'd drive me there and back. OH TO BE ABLE TO GET THE TIME OFF. DAMN YOU, OFFICE CO-WORKERS, FOR BOOKING HOLIDAYS IN AUGUST.
Meanwhile, Blogathon plans are going great guns. *Sev tries not to think about how behind she is* You wonderful people have pledged $1203.93 (!!!!!) so far -- THANK YOU. Blogathon is in one week -- Saturday July 28th -- head on over to sev_4_blogathon for all the scoop. I'll be posting a reminder/update post over there shortly.
Today I'm going to spend writing and recovering from my week. I'd barely come down from my Randy-high (Randy. Right There.) and it was back to work and planning for the nursing home's weekend yard sale. We got a ton of donations this year (whee!) so it took us 5.5 hours to sort and price on Friday (boo!). The yard sale was Saturday and it was tremendous. We made over $1000, worked from 6am to 4pm, and kicked ass (wheee!). Despite slathering myself in sunblock my shoulders still managed to get burned, Krystle set a table on my foot, and I injured my arm (boo!).
Anxious to hear what this weekend's group in Stockbridge thought of Randy and the play. Post, people, post!
