Vanished Episode 3

Okay, so I said that it would have to improve and... I think it did. I mean, I really liked it. I had a rollicking good time watching that sucker.

It seems like with the first two eps they were going: We Are Creating Serious Drama. And now they are going: WHEEEE! CRAZY FUN TIME.

Or maybe that's just me.

Anyway. The actress that plays Marcy cannot act, and I want Marcy to die a really horrible death. Either that, or stop crying and waffling between I-love-my-boyfriend/I-will-turn-in-my-boyfriend-to-the-police every ten seconds.

That whole scene with the suitcase was pretty cool. I found it highly amusing that these FBI dudes are supposed to be all undercover and they are LIFTING THINGS TO THEIR MOUTHS to talk. One dude lifts his collar up to his mouth. Kelton talks into his watch. NO ONE WILL EVER KNOW THAT YOU ARE SECRETLY SPEAKING INTO A MIC, MAN, COZ WE ALL TALK INTO OUR WRISTS.

Even so, Gale was incredibly hot during the whole scene. I soooo love Action-Gale! So perhaps I am biased.

They truly are the worst FBI agents EVER, though. First with the talking-into-wrists thing, and then nobody follows the Senator in all the commotion.

I liked the mystery parts this week. The "who put the cell phone in the drawer" part, and the way the Nicky-tape got wiped out (how did Cameraman know that the entire harddrive was fried based on screen static, hmm?)

Kelton says that the Bad Guy wanted to show Senator that he could circumvent all the FBI crap, and I'll buy that to a point, except didn't Bad Guy already prove that by getting the cell phone into the drawer? And if Bad Guy wanted to get Senator alone so that he could communicate something to him, didn't he *already have the cell phone in the house that he could have done that with*?

Oh well. Gale pretty. VERY PRETTY THIS EPISODE. *drools*

Oh. And I was ticked off when Esai Morales was all "Nathan Miller all over again whine rant whine". BACK OFF, BUDDY. Did he not realize that Kelton ran up and kept everyone back and prevented all the money-hungry losers from being, oh, BLOWN UP?

I think Son Of The Senator knows more than he is letting on.

Someday I will learn everyone's names.

Isn't Penelope Ann Miller the woman from "Big"? Coz she looks horrible with that hair. She also clearly wants to have mad monkey sex with Kelton, and I think he should take her up on it.

I am definitely missing something in the communication that the Senator got in the elevator. At this point I should point out that though I belong to a spoiler community, my inner Spoiler Virgin will not let me read the spoiler posts. I repeat: I AM A SPOILER VIRGIN. PLEASE DO NOT SPOIL ME.

Having said that, is there anyone who can shed some light on what the Bad Guy meant by his elevator chat? Is there a way to do that withOUT spoiling? Does anyone have speculation?

I forgot to tape the ep this week, and it's the only one so far I'd rewatch. Grrr.
