so as i was going through my shoe box of nostalgia looking for a saved envelope that contained the address of the girl. yes, THE GIRL. my phone rings and it's her.
now i would usually think that this meant everything but since the conversation included her saying the phrase "i'm taking so much time off when i get married" i really can't look at it too deeply now can i?
my 35 years included approx. 10 to 11 years of real happiness. everything else has been so-so to down right awful. and by the way that 10 year span stopped about 12 years ago. i have two shoe boxes that document the only time in my life that i was truly happy. my real enemy is fire.
