I was listening to The Good Life on my shitty drive back from Seattle and that line stuck in my head from the song "Inmates." I feel you, man. Whenever I get dumped or some kinda bad relation hoopla happens, I start thinking about all of this stuff. Relationships, past, present, future, platonic, romantic, sexual blah blah and it usually ends up with me overthinking myself into a sad state. Sorry I was not myself this weekend and posted gomer stuff. I think the point of that story is: try not to ponder relationship issues too deeply. Keep it shallow. Like height.

Don't try to confuse real relationships with placeholder relationships because that's when you start tricking yourself into feeling bad about something that shouldn't even be happening. You know when you actually need to give thought to something/one that is happening in your life and you also know when those things/people are happening that really don't matter. Don't blur the lines because it just makes things unnecessarily difficult on yourself.

Yeah, I know. I'm just real sick of these God damn placeholding relationships. Besides, I was just getting too deep into shit last night that I shouldn't have been thinking about.
