IM GOING TO JAIL!
id write about the first day of classes, but really, i have something more interesting to report.
i dont check my reed mailbox during the summer, because the mail room isnt open. i didnt leave a forwarding address, because in my experience, the only things that come there as opposed to my house address are bank statements and academic stuff, both of which i rationalized, could wait until fall. apparently, the multnomah county court system uses that address as well, and summoned me for jury duty on august 14th. i didnt get the memo. needless to say, i wasnt there. this was the point in my day where i needed to call mommy, asking her if i were going to jail. apparently, i am not, but there is still uncertaintly about how much legal trouble im in. i wonder if i can write a thesis in jail, you guys...
