Sowing the seeds of evil.

Of course she still didn’t believe me. Leave to them and their little group to never believe they could go bad. So pathetic. People can easily change when something happens and that’s what happened with Angel. Of course the Senior Partners probably used some sort of trick to get him to sign over on being CEO but that didn’t matter now. I was now ( Read more... )

God, how long did it take to convince a broad that her old friends had turned on her and left her to rot in this place? My question was finally answered when I spotted said broad and her new CEO step out of the elevator. Sprawling out on the couch I smiled as Cordeliea Chase stepped in, stopped, and then turned back. Not long after Lindsey went in front of her and the inevitable 'who the hell are you?' was said ( ... )

Okay, ever heard that expression of chin dropping to the floor when you're struck with bad news? Well after McDonald showed me that lovely little contract with Angel's signature on it, (obviously not forged because I had forged seen that signature how many times??), my chin bypassed the floor and headed straight on down to basement parking ( ... )

I couldn't believe this guy. Who the hell did he think he was. He wasn't going to walk up in my office and talk to me that way. And then the little game he was trying to play with Cordy. I couldn't help but laugh a bit when he took her hand and placed a light peek on it. What a asshole.

"I don't need someone of your likes around here to make sure I don't start any trouble." I give him a harsh look "And that act..you can stop it right now. Don't think the senior partners put me up as this job because I was a complete moron now do you? Of course not. They gave me this position because they knew I could handle it. Because they knew I was smart enough and well evil enough for it."

I took a few steps towards him getting right in his face "So believe me I know what your trying to do and I can see though any little act you try to have." I stared into his eyes for a moment before stepping back.

"Gee. Looks like you two need some alone time. I could always leave you boys alone to play nicely in here. And if you're extra good, I'm sure ( ... )

Well, this was going oh so well. "This isn't an act and did you ever think that just maybe the Senior Partners picked you because you'd be easiest to keep on a leash?" There we go, compare him to a dog, see what that does to him. He downs a shot of whiskey. Well, quick to drown his sorrows in drink right when he's presented with a challenge.

"That's what I'm talking about Lindsey my boy. The senior partners don't want you to hit the bottle every time something happens that you don't like. Besides, alcohol is a bad combination with work. We've had some complications before and I don't think I need a rewind moment, okay? So to recap. I am your liason. Cordelia is just beautiful. And you're a drunk."

Did I miss anything? Didn't think so...

I managed to contain a few chuckles at Lindsey's expense, but the smirk failed to stay off of my face. Lindsey, playing up to his urban cowboy badass image, was hitting the whiskey. Again. And apparently, I couldn't leave the office. I didn't feel like getting lost in here and if Lindsey was getting all drunkard, it probably wouldn't be wise to leave him with .. Hamilton ( ... )

"Hey now, I don't always hit the bottle and having a drink or two has nothing to do with this." I give him a pissed off stare. "Don't mistake me for stupid, I'm far from it. I get your little game, just trying to say stupid shit to get me pissed off."

Who did this joker think he was. Ok so sure he was the liason to the Senior Partners but that didn't make him better then us or me. "And the Senior partners picked me because I'd be best for the job." I hold my head up.

Couldn't help but smile when I saw Cordy going off a bit on Hamilton. Yea, I knew she wasn't actaully on my side or anything like that but for the moment she was. Especailly the part she said about him being the Senior Partners bitch, classic.

I just stand back and wait to see what he has to say to her question about ANgel.
