It was not very difficult to make this icon.



Of course we go to start with to cut 100x100px out of the original image!
But be sure to open the original image once again, because we will go make a texture out of the original image (like I almost always do)


After you did it, you drop that texture into the icon layer and you set your texture layer on "color" "and Fill 50%"


Now the icon does look more red, not how I wanted so I did go to layer - new Fill layer - solid color.
set layer on "hue" and "opacity" on "50%" + Use the color "d9df3e"
and you get

Now the icon does look a little bit brown, and it's not the right color..
So duplicate the texture layer and put it above the color Fill layer and set this layer on "Color Dodge" & "Fill 50%"
and you get

Now the icon will get already almost the right color!!

but first we need make a new level layer so go to Layer - New Adjustment laer - Levels
and use the settings:
BLACK 24
Grey 1,36
White 204
and you get


the background should be colored black a little bit more.

so go to Layer - New Adjustment layer - Color balance
and use the settings.
Midtones: Color Levels +15 +20 +9
Shadows: +14 +41 + 43

and you did it, the icon is done!
